Agents of the Legion...

So far you have unlocked a good amount of additions and here is a summary of what has been added:

Fast Agents

• In just 5 hours the project was funded for the printing of PORTAL of LIFE, the 3rd and final MIDNIGHT LEGION gamebook in the collection seen below!

Bigger

• You unlocked and added additional color pages for PORTAL OF LIFE. A couple of which are already in progress or completed:

Many Mini Stories

• You got 3 ADDED mini-stories added to the PORTAL OF LIFE!

Hyperlinked

• You also added hyperlinked PDFs for all the Midnight Legion books! (Your fingers will thank you later!)

Last Recruit

• You reprinted the LAST RECRUIT and the ability for anyone to add-on a PRINT copy for +$7. This prequel adventure takes you through the process of creating an agent in choose your own adventure story format--it is available as a PDF and PRINT format now.

Next Up!

If we hit 18k we will add a reprint of the (now hard-to-find) BOOK 2: The World Reborn into the campaign. This will be a add-on +13 much like how additional copies of BOOK 3 can be added for +13.

We are very grateful and humbled by how much love the MIDNIGHT LEGION has received. Aaron Emmel and I have had a blast putting this series together, and we hope you can take a few moments to savor the victory of this series. Many of you have been with us from the beginning. If you feel so inclined, take a few moments to share the joy with others in whatever form you wish, FB, twitter, interpretive dance, or perhaps a gift for your mom or favorite gamer (maybe that's the same person). Unlock Alert!

We unlocked the 8 and 9 k levels rather fast! 

[UNLOCKED!] 8k: Hyperlinked version of the PDFs for Book 1, Book 2, and Book 3: We have started this process, and it will make the usability of the PDF editions much easier. You can sample this already on the LAST RECRUIT pdf edition available on Drivethru RPG.

[UNLOCKED!] 9k: Add "The Last Mission" short story into the PRINT version of BOOK 3.
We added one of Aaron Emmel's fantastic short stories to the printed edition of BOOK 3.  This will increase the book size, but i will make sure it still fits in the box for those with box set book 1.

Print of Demand options . . .

For those who wanted to get a PRINTED edition of book 1 and book 2, but couldn't find them, we are getting a print on demand edition lined up with DRIVE THRU RPG. A few key notes to be aware of:

• These have to be a standard size, so the books will be 1/2 inch taller. (9" rather than 8.5") 
• To print 1 off copies, these books have a higher cost. We are greatly reducing our margins for these, but even with that, these books will be a little more expensive ($2 to 3)
• We have a HARD COVER option for these books, which we thought would be nice for those interested.
• These will be available in a few weeks, they require us to review a proof version which takes a couple of weeks to get, before they are available to you. 
• We cannot print the maps, memory book, or dice to be included with book 1 print on demand, but we will offer a PDF of the map and memory book for free with the purchase of a print on demand version of book 1.

Art and Design

With the writing complete, we are in art development. The design work is 95% complete. Here is a spread in progress, the art is 50% complete and getting into final color work (ALERT: This entry 103 connects to some of the entries below, if you don't want a spoiler don't read the text too closely)

 Below are two pages ready for proofing with final art, and few design touches left:

All the sketch art is completed for all pages, but only half of these are fully colorized. There are a number of pages in color development right now. These are on schedule to be fully completed by November. 

Next up . . .

After art and design are completed, we will do all the final proofing and then work on the PDF interactivity. So far the project is moving on schedule, and is proving to be a very exciting and challenging gamebook.
