Last Recruit is BACK!

We unlocked a SHORT PRINT RUN of THE LAST RECRUIT, Book 0! Meaning we will at least print up a couple hundred added copies for backers who didn't get this book—which was previously sold out! 

This also opens up two of the previously LOCKED pledge levels. Summary of the changes here: 

• Added (25) more books to the LAST RECRUIT pledge level LIMIT. 
• Added (75) more books to the SPECIAL DOUBLE AGENT pledge level LIMIT.
• Added (100) more ADD-ONs for anyone including book 0 to their pledge level.
  

The prequel mini-booklet Last Recruit features a character-creation storyline created for the 2018 Free RPG Day. There are a limited number of remaining re-print copies set aside and available for this campaign. In this adventure, you can develop your character for the Midnight Legion Series through its narrative. (Unlocked PRINT 100 ADD-ONs available now)

Unlocked New Short Story

[UNLOCKED!] 10k: Add "Passing the Torch" short story into the PRINT & PDF version of BOOK 3. We added one of Aaron Emmel's amazing short stories to the printed & pdf edition of BOOK 3. This will increase the book page count, but we will make sure it still fits in the box for those with box set book 1.

Well done! Next stretch goal is at 11k!

New Reward Level!

We added the PORTAL AGENT reward level for those who wanted a PRINT COPY of book 3 and a PDF of book 3, 2, 1 (full box set), and 0. Originally I thought there would be enough DOUBLE AGENT reward levels to go around, but with those filling up. So, this is a good reward level to have. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

PDF LINKABLE

We added a new bonus: the LAST RECRUIT PDF will have links for ease of use. And woot, it was UNLOCKED at 7k! 

We also added the linkable PDF as a goal for Books 1, 2, and 3. This is a very ACHIEVABLE stretch goal of 8k--right around the corner. If we hit it, we will be able to hire someone to do the work of linking the PDF. This is not particularly hard, just a little time consuming.

But this means we get a VERY good PDF which links directly to the section you want to read next. Thanks James M. for the great idea.

Print on Demand

Our supplies are already depleted and the surge continues as our retailers and distributors are also selling out Box set 1 and the Book 2. As a stop gap, we are lining up the ability to get BOOK 1, and BOOK 2 as a print on demand edition, hard or soft cover. Stay tuned for details, but this should help those who didn't get the earlier books.

This is an exclusive never before seen extended edition of THE ANCIENTS AWAKEN short story. From Aaron Emmel:

• Centuries after the Devastation destroyed human civilization, mole explorers discover an underground human lair. They don't know that this is Alpha Base, where Midnight Legion agents wait for MELMA to rouse them from their stasis. All they know is that they have found a potential new home, with treasures beyond their wildest imagining.

• This story takes place centuries before the events in MNL 1: Operation Deep Sleep. A shorter version was published in 2016 by Every Day Fiction, but this full, expanded version has never been published or shared.
